STATION SQUARE. This historic landmark was once the P&LE Railroad Station, and now offers some of Pittsburgh's best dining with a view. The main room, with grand arched ceiling, is inspiring and usually reverberates with chit-chatty diners. There are also several smaller (and quieter) rooms available. One is able to sit riverside with a good view of Downtown and Point Park. The menu is centered on seafood, as well as steaks and homemade pastas. Music regularly. A must while in Pittsburgh!

DOWNTOWN. If you're looking for fine dining and some of the best fish in Pittsburgh, look no further than The Original Fish Market. Located near the convention center, the restaurant is a welcome treat for locals and visitors alike. New menus are printed daily, reflecting how serious the establishment takes the idea of freshness. As such, prices are what one would expect for such culinary expertise. A multitude of wines is offered, and terrific pairing suggestions are made by servers who have a vast knowledge of the wines offered.

SQUIRREL HILL. For 30 years, Poli has been a Pittsburgh standard, preparing its beloved seafood in a semi-formal dining setting. The extensive menu also includes a number of pasta dishes, chicken and veal, plus ten daily specials.#13;#10;

MT. WASHINGTON. Just over the peak of Mount Washington, Red Beard's Inn lives up to its swashbuckling name by cranking out good meals faster than you can say "YAAARRRRRR." Shrimp and fish dishes satisfy those with sea-legs, and landlubbers will enjoy ¾-pound bacon cheeseburgers while chatting with locals at the galley bar or entertaining guests in more private quarters.

DOWNTOWN. This vintage seafood house boasts monster fish sandwiches and an attractive updated bar. It's been in operation since 1870 and is a city mainstay for both visitors and residents. Platters and sandwiches are most prevalent, featuring shrimp, scallops, oysters, crab cakes, and even Italian hot sausage. The seafood breading is a signature recipe, and 25 major films have been shot on location here.
